IPUG Joins National Taipei University’s 77th Anniversary Celebration
National Taipei University celebrated its 77th anniversary with a series of festive activities, bringing together faculty members, students, alumni, and friends of the university to mark this special occasion. Among the participants were students from the International Program on Urban Governance (IPUG), who joined the celebration and shared their enthusiasm as part of the university community.
Led by Dean Sherry, IPUG students took part in the anniversary procession, proudly representing the program. Their participation, together with students supported by the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF), highlighted the international character of IPUG and its commitment to fostering a multicultural learning environment. Through its partnership with TaiwanICDF, the program welcomes students from diverse countries and backgrounds, bringing different perspectives and cultural experiences to the university.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the anniversary road race, where IPUG student Richelle delivered an impressive performance, winning second place in the Women’s Student Division. Her achievement was a proud moment for the IPUG community and demonstrated the enthusiasm and talent of its students beyond the classroom.
The 77th anniversary celebration was a wonderful opportunity for IPUG students to connect with the wider university community, participate in campus traditions, and celebrate the diversity that makes NTPU an international and inclusive learning environment.
Congratulations to Richelle on her achievement, and thank you to Dean Sherry and all IPUG students for being part of this memorable celebration. Happy 77th Anniversary, National Taipei University!
